My son, Jeremiah has had a serious sinus drainage problem for the past 6 years, periodically resulting in asthma-like symptoms related to strenuous exercise. After several treatments with Dr. Nelson, the symptoms cleared up. No more thick mucous discharge. No more wheezing, Five months after the treatments, Jeremiah still enjoys clear sinuses with only occasional light congestion and no wheezing. He holds one of the fastest times in his gym class for running the mile and one-half which he now enjoys doing. I came to Dr. Nelson for treatment of my Asthma, a disease that I have had since early childhood. I was in and out of hospitals continually. The doctors told me that I would always be on an Asthma medication called Theophyllin for the rest of my life, in order to control the continuous wheezing. I was always embarrassed to spend the night at friends houses, or participate in P.E. because of my illness. I tried to be just a "normal" little kid but my Asthma kept me down. One day, a friend told me that she know of someone who was severely Asthmatic and went to a chiropractor and was able to throw away his medication. I felt I had nothing to lose. Dr. Nelson adjusted a vertebrae in upper back that had been out of alignment of some time. He said that that particular vertebrae could be pinching nerves that lead to the lungs. On my fourth visit, I accidentally forgot to take my medication. If I miss a pill, I would start wheezing within 8 to 12 hours. I didn't start to wheeze! I was unable to grasp that I no longer needed my medication! If only I hadn't come in years ago! Thank you Dr. Nelson.

As I walked into Dr. Nelson's office, I was skeptical, distraught, and confused. After having sinus surgery, over 20 rounds of antibiotics (Amoxicillin, Bioxin, Erythromycin), I was glad to be able to hear someone sound confident that they could help me. He told me I had some major problems in my neck and back, and I had been told I had slight scoliosis when I was younger, but they did nothing. After having cranial and back adjustments, as well as stretching, I have noticed I am standing straighter, as well as no sinus infections, after only six weeks! I had to come home from school in Colorado, and live at home. I attribute much of this improvement to Dr. Nelson. I was losing sleep, having stomach problems, taking Depression medication, and I am slowly gaining confidence that this is working.
